Decorating Easter Cookies

I'm trying to update the Blog such that the entries - when read backwards - are in chronological order. But of course you read from the top down, so you'll get them from latest event to the one most past. I should really get more frequent at updating it and then I won't have this problem!

Part Two of our Family Easter Day was decorating cookies (after dinner, of course). Groceries stores down here started carrying Betty Crocker frosting a few years ago, so now I don't have to labour over making my own! I had had the kids decorate cookies at Mother's Group at our house one day so Sydney was a seasoned "Froster" by now - no doubt more ended up in her mouth than on the cookies considering she pretty much just scooped it straight from the container into her mouth.

We had to make a cookie for John - as you can see - he enjoyed staring at it a lot. Mommy ate it for him.

At this point we had him lying on a blanket on the grass beside the table. I got down on my knees behind him to take these photos and he looked back at me - he had discovered how to move his head and eyes backwards towards the sound. He looked up at me with this adorable face of innocence and sweetness.

Back to the messiness! Yum - need I say more?
