One thing that was very exciting for us when we were moving back to Perth was knowing our awesome friends were going to be living closer to us. Katy, Ben, Charlie & Josie turned out to be the brother and sisters Sydney and John didn't have. We saw them every few days once we were back in our house and the kids would ask on the other days if we could go see them.
Unfortunately all good things must come to an end and just as we were getting so used to saying "hi" to them every other day, we then had to say "goodbye", as they got an opportunity to move back to New South Wales (hopefully only for a few years). We spent many a hot December afternoons swimming in their pool.
