Right after the new school year started, Rich & John traveled together to California for a week for some fun in the sun and to visit with our US family. I was so nervous watching my boys walk under the Immigration sign, but they were confident that "the boys" could tackle the challenge of traveling together and hanging out for a week at the Beach House. Whilst they were there they....
Fooled around on the beach, literally, and "posed" for pictures for Mommy so she could see what they'd done all week.
Hung out together and did "boy" things - whatever that may be.
Wrote messages in the sand for Mommy and Sydney.
Cuddled with Aunty Mary at dusk (and morning, and noon...)
Built sandcastles, or made Daddy build sandcastles.
Drew martian figures in the sand.
Spent quality time with the four generations - playing "mousey" with Nana and umpteen other games with Grammie.
Visited with Cousin Brynna (who came out with Aunty Mary for a visit) and watched Jonathan and his friends, and undoubtedly fed them too much.

Looks like such a fun trip! I love their message in the sand. That would have melted my mommy heart. :)
