Another Day at the Beach

If you are a Tasker blog follower you'll have to get used to photos of the beach house and what we get up to there, as we'll be spending a lot of time there.

Rich left for Japan on Saturday so I decided to take the kids up to the beach house to visit Nana and Gramps for a day. We got up there on Sunday afternoon and just hung out and played with toys before going out to dinner. The pelicans were going crazy - just dive bombing into the water one after another. As we drove to dinner we saw at least 200 pelicans take off from the shore and just flying in flocks, skimming the surface of the ocean; it was beautiful.

Gramps and Sydney spent about 90 minutes out on the beach checking out the low tide and had a wonderful time as usual. I actually got to read for about 60 minute uninterrupted as the kids both took naps at the same time, and since I wasn't at home (and don't have internet at the beach house) I had no choice but to relax. Amazing. No wonder we want to go up there more often! I just want Daddy to join us!!!!!
