John knew for months prior to his 4th birthday that he wanted an Angry Bird theme. So we scoured the internet together looking for inspiration - and neither one of us could have been more pleased with the end result.
First there was his Red Bird Pinata - we were totally reluctant to actually bust the thing open.
Next there were the Angry Bird Cupcakes. I had so much fun creating these. The kids may have even hesitated for about 1/4 of a second before devouring them.
The only shot Rich and I got with John on the day (very typical) is unfortunately over-exposed, but its still pretty good. We played a few games, ate a lot of food and then turned on the hoses for a big play in the water.

The birthday boy promptly fell asleep in the middle of video game playing with Daddy. We actually had to carry him half-asleep and put him in the car to go meet the family for the family party over at Hillarys.
