Do you think these two are getting used to living out of suitcase - literally? I wasn't able to get much packing done when they were awake as they, obviously, wanted to play in the suitcase rather than letting me stuff it with our clothes. Sydney was trying very hard to strap herself into it, a "seatbelt", using the straps on the inside. John just liked to bounce up and down and launch himself at Sydney, much to her frustration.

This was taken whilst getting ready to go for another visit to Wisconsin. We went over to Mom's for 9 days - a last minute booking - when Rich went to Japan mid-July. The kids were once again fantastic on the plane on the way there. I took Sydney's carseat on board this time - such a great idea. She stayed strapped into her carseat the entire trip - watching DVDs, colouring, eating, playing games with John, etc. Mom then came back to CA with us for two weeks and split her time between our place and Nana and Gramps'. We're definitely trying to take advantage of all the opportunties we have to visit with my family whilst we're in the States.
