This adorable onesie was just given to John by my friends Belinda and Sarah - I love it! It's a great range of baby clothes called "Rock My Baby" from Sydney. Makes you want to stay away from my little guy, eh? Perhaps we need to get a bigger size for when he's playing on the playground in a few years time. We've had atrociously hot weather in Perth for as long as I can remember, except for two days last week when the heat broke and we finally got some rain (50 days without it). We headed outside around 4pm for some fresh air and much needed running around. Sydney went straight for the swing, of course, and John had a good time letting the wind blow his hair around. Sydney has decided that a really fun activity is running up and down the limestone path along the side of our house - luckily she just wants us to hide around the corner and 'surprise' her every time she gets to the end, she doesn't actually want us to run after her. It's a great way for her to use up her energy at the end of the day.
And of course there is our third child (actually he was our first) - Teddy. Mr. "Security" doesn't look so tough anymore when he's next to the "ferocious" labrador! Teddy has actually adjusted remarkably well to John and being knocked one more notch down the totem pole. He isn't nearly as interested in him as he was Sydney, although he does like to lick his feet if I'd let him. Teddy was a bit crazier than usual when all my family was here, but he calmed down a lot when they left and has stayed that way ever since.
