Grammie Carolyn came down to Texas the week before we moved so she could "Nanny" for us whilst everything was being packed up. It was an absolute Godsend for me, and I never would have been able to finish up things around town (doctor appointments, and you know, the odd shopping trip or 10). So here's snippets of her and kids the last week
John just can't take a "normal" picture at this stage. Here they are posing after our last playdate with the kids from school. Can you see how flushed they are - HOT!

Trying to get a good photo of the three of them on our front step - this is the best we got without John's fingers in his mouth making a crazy face, or Sydney sulking.

Rich purchased "The Stinger" in July - I think it was him living vicariously thru his kids. We lived on a wonderfully quiet street which allowed the kids to drive around without a problem. Grammie did not take a ride herself, but again, another attempt for a trio photo. (note: fingers in mouth, sulking, and eyes closed - beauty).

One of the days the packers were at the house Grammie took the kids to their favorite restaurant for lunch - the Rainforest Cafe. They just LOVED this place, and always ate a good meal (who doesn't like Mini Hotdogs). Notice John's badge - its his Texas Ranger badge that says his name.

And where does one sit to eat once the kitchen table and chairs have been sold? At the kiddy table of course - what a great sport that Grammie is. I love the fact that her glass of wine is sitting in the middle of the table. I think they were chowing down on bought-at-the-fresh-food-stand-at-HEB gourmet meals.

Take a look at pictures of Mom now and then a few years ago. I would venture to say she looks even better and younger now! I hope I reverse age too!!
