Christmas Craziness

We had a wonderful - HOT - Christmas this year. We got up at a civilised hour (since Sydney didn't really have any anticipation for the day) and opened our family presents first thing in the morning. I think I was more excited to see what she was unwrapping than she was, as we had to play with every toy before opening the next one. At 10am Rich's family came over and we had the extended family Christmas gift exchange - Toys R Us certainly made off well with our family's money!

We weren't planning on attending the extra-extended family Christmas lunch, but decided mid-afternoon to drive to it and surprise everyone. We got there around 4pm, scrounged for some leftovers and enjoyed everyone's company (and the dessert). It was stinking hot out, so all the "kids" (meaning the 20-30 -year old guys) took turns throwing each other into the inflatable pool. I believe a few of their mother's were also in the line of fire.
