I really like this above photo even though we aren't all "posed" - I think that Rich and I look really happy in it. I don't even know what we may have been saying to one another right before or as this photo was being taken, but obviously we were sharing a moment! Yes, this is at the beach house, again - our favourite quick getaway location. Thanks Nana & Gramps!
This above photo was taken when Mom was still here visiting and before John actually crawling. Is he not just the cutest thing EVER? Before he worked out how to move forward he would get up on his hands and knees and rock, and rock, and rock. Or he'd sit on his bum and bounce up and down, practically getting himself into a standing position. On more than one occasion he managed to bounce himself forward so forcefully that he fell flat on his face, poor thing.
MINI ME!!!! Like Father, Like Son! It's a bit scary, actually. At the time I'm finally writing this (Sept 16) John is now saying "Da Da" in recognition of Rich. He takes off in a full speed crawl towards Rich screaming Da Da, Da Da. Very cute.
Talk about a moment that only a camera can catch. I think she was actually scowling at me, not quite sure why - I probably told her she couldn't have any ice cream. Wait, she would have been yelling at me, not scowling, if I'd told her that.
Here's my boy. John is the most cuddly little thing in the world. Now that he's crawling he will come over to me if I'm sitting on the ground and climb into my lap, stand himself up and put his head on my shoulder and his arms around my waist. I love it.
