Found in Japan: MY TOES!

So most people who have met John know that he has managed to secure every single relaxed, non-fussed, sedate, chilled-out gene that Rich, Sydney and I (combined) don't possess. He truly is the dream child (for those who have or had terrors, feel free to stop reading now).

I uploaded all our photos onto Picasa last night in my first step attempt to finally organise our families digital photos. It quickly summarised for me that we have 2970 (yes, you read the correctly) photos in the folder marked "Sydney Grace" - and that's only until Dec 10 when John was born! Sick, I know. Rich promptly remarked "Poor number 2, we need to take more photos of John". So in my attempt to do just that - check out the cute one below.

He has discovered his feet quite a bit over the last few days. The apartment has a consistent warm temperature indoors so we've had his socks off a lot more. He was having a nudey kick around the floor before his Japanese-style bath whilst I was putting Sydney to bed. Unfortunately he kept taking his toes out of his mouth right before the camera went off, so I wasn't able to get one of that - oh well, gotta take more pictures tomorrow, right?

So this one of him, to use Sydney's words "Hanging Out" on our walking trip around Tokyo today. I filled him up, literally, before we left the apartment and he remained content, happy
and giggling for the entire four hours we were out - he even took two naps during the time.
This photo was taken on Takeshita Street, if you've read the above story you'll see that he was completely unaffected by all the weirdness that was bustling around him. He woke up about 15 minutes later, looked up at me, grinned and then started to chew on his strap - easy to please (yes, I took him home after that and fed the poor child again).
He is such a blessing to our lives. Thank you, God.
