Unfortunately we were unable to attend the American Club's 4th of July celebrations in Perth this year (they were held on Sunday July 1 - which turned out to be a very rainy/windy day). So, Sydney and I donned our red, white and blue clothes anyway on the 4th of July and sang to her "We Sing America" songs whilst in the car, waved a flag together and sang Wisconsin songs.
We are really excited (OK, mainly I'm excited) that Mom and Laura get here tomorrow afternoon. We're going to the airport to pick them up and if we get time in the morning we'll even make them a welcome sign. I finally finished unpacking the boxes that we were storing in the guest bedroom - so Mom has a place to sleep!
